Tacos not in your wheelhouse? Well what about gin and juice 🙂

SOCA Gin & Tonic EatDrinkLA

Calling itself “a refined sophomore restaurant by veteran Valley chef” SOCA in Sherman Oaks offers steak and seafood dishes alongside a gin-centric bar program that specializes in TEN distinctive Spanish Gin & Tonics. Known only by their numbers like something out of a spy movie, the Spanish Gin & Tonic No. 1 delights the eyes and the senses with Gin Mare, Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic, and flavors of kumquats, and thyme.

If you’re minding your money then head to SOCA during Happy Hour from Tuesday to Friday from 3pm-7pm, or Saturday from 5pm to 7pm to get yourself $4 off those fancy gin concoctions.G&T No. 1 SOCA EatDrinkLA

While you’re practicing your counting, don’t forget to eat something in between sips. Dishes from their super-refined Happy Hour food menu like the Smoked Trout Avocado Toast ($12) and the Peruvian Lobster Roll ($20) are $4 off as well. Dinner begins at 5:30 PM and Chef Aaron Robins (you know him from Boneyard Bistro) encourages guests to make this their night out spot without the hassle of going over the hill. Keep your cocktail hour going strong with an order of signature Korean Crab Dumplings made with King Crab, Korean Chili, Citrus San Bai Su, and Kimchi Slaw ($15), or make it a complete meal with an American Wagyu Flatiron ($32).

Lunch is also available from Tuesday-Friday 11:30 AM-2:30 PM where the focus is turned to lighter bites like their Fresh Fire-Roasted Albacore Tuna Salad made with Fresh Herbs, Caper Aioli, Red Onion, Tomato, and Greens ($14/$19), or Chilled Smoked Ocean Trout with Avocado-Green Goddess Remoulade, Tomato & Corn Panzanella ($18). Compliment that with a Strawberry Granita created by pastry chef Joy Cuevos on their beautiful outdoor patio and you’ll wish that summer would never end.
