September must be “do-gooders” month in the culinary world because not a week has passed without someone using food in the name of charity!

Whether it’s Paula Abdul visiting Denny’s probably for the first time in 30 years for No Kid Hungry, or Chefs like Curtis Stone and Neal Fraser coming out to support the James Beard Foundation’s Taste America tonight, it seems like everyone is part of a cause.

Wondering how you can fit in? There’s still time to raise money for Los Angeles’ Homeless & Trafficked Youth Programs by attending The All Star Mixology Competition benefiting Covenant House in California.

Hosted by ‘The Tasting Panel Magazine’ this premier mixology competition and tasting event features 12 top craft bartenders mixing it up for guests and a panel of judges. The winner will receive the 2016 All Star Mixology Award but really everyone is a winner here because you are trying the cocktails along with the judges! 

So come out to The Hollywood Roosevelt September 29th at 7 PM for a red carpet and reception and feel just as good as Paula Abdul!
