On this Thanksgiving I am thankful for…the restaurant

Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for what you have and overeat because you have it–but the question always remains: home-cooked or restaurant prepared?

On this holiday I am grateful for those that can pull it off better than me.

In a metropolitan city like Los Angeles you have many options for a decadent meal on Turkey day- and it doesn’t need to cost an arm and a leg.

Here are 3 of my favorites that won’t throw you over a fiscal cliff.

1. Geoffrey’s in Malibu.
I recommend getting a table at sunset to enjoy your 3 course meal. Big plus-if you don’t like turkey, you can choose from 5 other main course options including scallops or miso braised tofu.
Price: $56 a person

2. Maggiano’s at the Grove.
Don’t laugh! This is a great choice if you’re on the mood for Italian food and turkey at the same time, but you still want money left over to shop at the mall afterwards.
Price: $36.95 a person for 4 courses

3. Papilles in Hollywood.
If you’re idea of Thanksgiving include truffles, then look no further than Papilles. The are offering a 3 course meal that feels just like home made-if your home was in Provence.
Price: $40 a person

Happy indulging!
