Where to have a Hoppy Easter Brunch!
Brunch is one of my favorite meals because it gives you an excuse to enjoy a cocktail before noon without judgement. Easter Brunch is EVEN BETTER because it’s drinking in the morning after you have been absolved of judgement!
If you are stumped as to where to celebrate I have a short list featuring lots of fun that even Pope Francis might approve of!
Come celebrate a Pascua brunch at Tortilla Republic in West Hollywood where activities include an adult Easter egg hunt and a “Make Your Own Farmer’s Market Margarita Bar!” For added fun they are offering prizes for the winner of the Easter egg hunt—all of which involve more food and drinks!! The grand prize is two tickets to Tortilla Republic’s Tequila Tasting series.
If you are looking to impress your parents and Mexican food isn’t your thing, then enjoy a 3 course brunch at Il Cielo in Beverly Hills instead. You can’t beat the atmosphere and it’s relatively affordable at $48 a person.
Possibly the most fun choice for an Easter brunch with a large group would be Rockwell in Los Feliz. Sunday Brunch runs from 10am-3pm and features bottomless mimosas and a DJ on their fantastic outdoor patio. Word to the wise though, if you have never been here make sure you are going into Rockwell and not Vermont Kitchen and Bar. Although they share the same building the atmospheres are Drastically different and Vermont’s mimosas have a bottom!
