Here’s a Sneak Peek of the New Drinks at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for Summer
If you’re thirsty for a new way to take your coffee, then leave it to the experts who have been doing Ice Blended® since 1987! The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf first opened its doors in Brentwood in 1963, and it has been at the forefront of innovation ever since. Here’s a look at the brand new drinks at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for Summer 2025. Be sure to scroll to the end to check out my favorite and why.
The Ultimate Cold Brew Ice Blended®
The Ultimate Cold Brew Ice Blended® hits you with a blast of frozen chocolate and coffee plus something you can’t quite put your finger on. It turns out that those are chewy grains of espresso beans. The flavor is delicious, and the espresso beans turn up the bitter notes just a notch. This could easily be an everyday coffee drink.

CaraMocha Ice Blended®
The CaraMocha Ice Blended® features both caramel and chocolate, but I got heavy butterscotch vibes. It’s ultra-sweet, and it had me vibrating a little. But it was also my second Ice Blended beverage of the tasting :).

Ube Coconut Affogato Ice Blended®
If you love coconut, then you’ll adore the Ube Coconut Affogato Ice Blended®. The sweet coconut pairs perfectly with the espresso affogato pour-over, and it’s a genius way to get your caffeine fix. I found the taste completely unexpected and couldn’t get enough of it.

My favorite of the New Drinks at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for Summer
It was a tough choice between the Ultimate Cold Brew and the Ube Coconut Affogato, but in the end, it came down to my initial impression. Sipping on the Ube Coconut Affogato Ice Blended® for the first time transported me poolside, where I love enjoying Piña Coladas. All you need to do is close your eyes, and you’re instantly on vacation. That is what we should all experience when enjoying a summer beverage – even if we’re just on our way to the office in shorts.
