Your Must-Dos for this March in Los Angeles
March in Los Angeles is a time to savor the sweet end to winter, with celebratory days filled with Oreos, Pi, and St. Patty’s Day Parties. Remember the ladies all month long, including a special shout-out on International Women’s Day, plus find out where to eat like a celebrity for Oscars Sunday.
Check back with this post weekly as updates are made as the long month rolls on.

Pop-Ups you Can’t Pass Up
I like Levain Bakery a little more than I’d care to admit, so when they debut a New Collab, I make sure I’m in the area. March 6th through the 8th offers a chance to sample Cookie Milk Matcha, a limited-time offering made with Montauk General’s signature matcha and “cookie milk” steeped from Levain’s white chocolate macadamia cookies. Friday’s Pop-Up will be held in Beverly Hills, Saturday is Venice, and Sunday is Larchmont. Hours are 10 a.m. until sold out!

Break out your inner Parista on Thursday, March 12th, when Paris Hilton and International Delight Creamer show off their latest pink creations. Flavors include Raspberry Champagne Creamer, Sweet & Spicy Creamer, and Cotton Candy Cold Foam. Hours are 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Ocean and Colorado in Santa Monica. This event is fun if you’ve got out-of-towners to entertain, thanks to its proximity to the Santa Monica Pier and a guaranteed 2000s pop-culture celeb sighting.
March 13th to 15th, is a Milkfarm Collab Pizza at Wallflour in Eagle Rock, beginning at Noon. It’s part of the Regarding Her Festival (details on that below).
On Wednesday, March 25th, Tal Ronnen of famed vegan Crossroads Kitchen will host a six-course collaborative dinner alongside Emmy Award-winning TV personality and Chef Andrew Zimmern and James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Solomonov. The cost is $95 with seatings from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Reserve on OpenTable.
Party with Pancakes
National Pancake Day was created by the IHOP brand in 2006 to raise money for charities and give away stacks of what they do best as a thank-you. Every $1 donated helps to provide 10 Meals to Feeding America! This year, it falls on March 3rd, and IHOP isn’t the only restaurant getting in on the sweet deals. Here’s where to get FREE or almost free flapjacks in 2026.

Fill up on First Fridays
March 6th is First Friday on Abbot Kinney with Food Trucks from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Admission is free, and you’ll find a rotating list of trucks each month. Check the website for parking details. Get outside and mingle!
March 6th is also FREE Friday at the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena from 4 to 7 p.m., during which access to all the galleries is open with no tickets necessary.
Speaking of Friday, if you’re abstaining from meat, visit Habit through March 27th for Fish Fridays during which you can receive a FREE side of Fries with any Baja Crispy Fish Sandwich.
Lastly, visit the Natural History Museum for its First Friday, celebrating 20 years this year! Get your tickets here for the event, which includes Lectures, DJs, Cocktails, and Food Trucks from 6 to 10 p.m. The Theme for the Month is “Life on the City Scale.” The cost is $30 for anyone over two years old and $20 for members.
Commemorate Women’s History Month with RE: Her
Regarding Her (RE: Her) is in its 6th year, and the RE: Her Festival is only getting stronger – just like the fems in this world. What was once a 10-day celebration now spans the entire month of March. Below are just a few of the many events you can participate in to celebrate women-owned businesses and chefs, plus there are Collab Dinners all month to get excited about. Enjoy the full lineup here, along with event specifics.
- A networking must: Female Founders Night at Benny Boy Brewing on March 4th, beginning at 6 p.m.
- Regarding Her at Smorgasburg – La Festa Della Donna, presented by San Pellegrino in partnership with Smorgasburg x Regarding Her on March 8th at ROW DTLA. Entry is FREE, but food is not. The event will feature pasta and sandwich legend Leah Ferrazzani, who is returning to the place where it all began for one day only.
- Rossoblu’s 5th Annual Collaborative Dinner on March 10th at 6:30 p.m. Details coming soon.
- Echo Park Bop, a food tour of women-owned restaurants in Echo Park, led by Lien Ta of All Day Baby on March 22nd.

Now For the Kids Stuff
Make March Matter by visiting a slew of local restaurants, giving a portion of their sales back to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Everyone from Alfred Coffee to Eataly is in on the action. The complete list is here.
Enjoy National Oreo Day
March 6th is the sweetest day of the year because it celebrates America’s (and my) favorite store-bought cookie. Visit 6 Best Limited Edition Oreo Flavors to learn about the 2026 Oreo flavors of the year that are worth your money.

Have a HOLI Day
The Hindu celebration of Holi is coming up on March 4th, and you can get in on the color fest with Holi & The Beach in Redondo Beach on March 7th. It’s one of the largest festivals in California. Tickets begin at $15, and kids under 5 are FREE!

Celebrate International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day on March 8th is a day to celebrate the achievements of women worldwide. In our own culinary microcosm, you can celebrate by eating out at the restaurants of some of the Best Female Chefs in Los Angeles or enjoy a drink at Bar Next Door from Bar Director Brynn Smith. It’s ranked among the Best Bars IN THE WORLD!
There’s also an International Women’s Day Bike Ride that begins at Cafecita Coffee in Marina Del Rey at 8:30 a.m.
Lastly, you can fill your morning cup with some java that gives back. Klatch Coffee‘s new release is Mujeres de Café, which donates 20% to Grounds for Health for every bag purchased until the end of March. Grounds for Health works to treat and prevent cervical cancer in coffee-producing regions. This rich coffee was produced in Lucia Ortiz’s Finca Las Mercedes in El Salvador and has notes of molasses, hibiscus, and kiwi.

Try a New Restaurant
The Original Farmer’s Market in Mid-City is turning up the heat on new restaurants with Gott’s Roadside from Nor Cal and Oh My Dumpling from Steven Zhang.
Downtown Los Angeles has a restaurant refresh at The Hotel Figueroa with Florence by the Water from Francesco Zimone and Executive Chef Giuseppe Gentile of L’ Antica Pizzeria Da Michele in Hollywood.

Enjoy Endless Possibilities on Pi Day
Does the number 3.14 mean anything to you? Then, you should pat yourself on the back on Saturday, March 14th, for paying attention in school. I like to honor Pi Day with a slice of the Best Pies in Los Angeles. Details still emerging.
At Laurie’s Pie Bar in Long Beach, they will be offering a deal on the Frankenpie: one slice free for guests who buy five slices to create their own pie. The first 50 customers of the day will also receive a FREE Key Lime Pie Shot to celebrate.

Eat like a Celebrity on Oscar Sunday
The 98th Annual Academy Awards take place on March 15th, and there’s no better way to celebrate than to Eat like a Celebrity all day long – at some of the hottest celeb-owned restaurants in Los Angeles. The Oscars take place at 4 p.m. at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and will be televised on ABC.
Be sure to stop by Circa 55 at The Beverly Hilton for some signature sips, including The Glitz and The Glam, topped with Moet Chandon and a sprinkle of gold dust. Loews Hollywood, directly next to Ovation Hollywood, is also known to do something special.

Party down on St. Paddy’s Day
St. Patrick’s Day falls on Tuesday, March 17th, you might want to celebrate with some alcohol-free alternatives. Polly’s Pies has launched an Irish-centric menu, available now through St. Patrick’s Day, which is perfect to enjoy on your lunch break.
If you can escape from work, Scottish steakhouse Tam O’ Shanter in Los Feliz is hosting its annual party beginning at 11 a.m. This includes entertainment and themed fare in the dining room and garden. Guests without a lunch or dinner reservation inside may join the festivities with a $10 cover charge. Advance tickets are available via OpenTable and will also enter you into a raffle for gift cards and merch.
Also one to consider is Tom Bergin‘s on Fairfax, which has been open for 100 years in Los Angeles! Stay tuned for their event news.
Ring in the First Day of Spring
March 20th marks the first day of spring, and a SuperBloom is Expected for this year! Local bloom spots include Point Dume in Malibu and Chino Hills State Park in Chino Hills. Venture out a little further to the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve, which includes a live cam on their website, so you don’t waste your gas if things aren’t blooming yet. I’ve also seen some nice spots near the 134 West and the 2 Freeway from my car window – no stopping necessary.

Toast to National Cocktail Day
National Cocktail Day falls on Tuesday, March 24th, which may or may not be the perfect day to get a crisp cocktail. Check out Death & Co in the Arts District to sample some of the best cocktails in the country. Reservations can be made on Tock, and doors open at 6 p.m. You can also check out the suggestion below.

Shh…there’s a Speakeasy Happening
Tam O’Shanter’s one-word speakeasy is on for the second month beginning on Thursday, March 26th at 6 p.m. Look for the red light in the back room to signal the party has begun. Getting into this prohibition-style cocktail corner isn’t as easy as OpenTable, though. You’ll need to email Jake Larowe for the secret password. You can expect killer Live Jazz Music and a Cocktail Menu that is thick with historical must-haves. You’ll even learn the year your drink was first created!

MLB Opening Day falls on Thursday, March 26th for the Dodgers against the Diamondbacks. Get your tickets here beginning at $190.

Get Silly on National Something on a Stick Day
