Fall Events for this Week
Ghost Train 2017
Running every weekend in October the 17th Annual Ghost Train Halloween Event is picking up steam at the The Los Angeles Live Steam Railroad Museum.
The family friendly train ride is designed to be spooky, but not too terrifying for young riders. Only caveat is they must be be at least 34 inches tall.
Tickets are $20 a person but hey this is the only way this museum stays open; and I’m sure I’m not the only parent out there who has taken advantage of those donation-only train rides throughout the year.
City of Glendale Fall Festival
The City of Glendale Community Services and Parks Department is holding its first Fall Festival this Saturday October 21st from 12-4 PM at Pacific Community Center & Park. Expect games, a petting zoo, a pumpkin patch, and more! Best of all the event is FREE!!!
Decade-themed Costume Party
If you just can’t wait till the end of October to party then Sassafras Saloon in Hollywood has got you covered. Beginning at 5 PM on Friday October 20th they will be having a Decade-themed Costume Party where dressing up from your favorite era gets you a free drink! Live bands and DJs will be playing the best of each era all night long.
Another awesome no cover event, Oktoberfest at Pershing Square is offering so much fun that they can’t pack it into one afternoon. Head to DTLA from 12-8 PM on both October 21st and 22nd to enjoy a street festival with music, dancing and the occasional beer stein.
