Don’t eat out without these Apps!

You’re probably familiar with OpenTable and Resy, but what if you’re looking for the best restaurant apps for dining out that are actually going to save you money! Here are some brand new ones for 2019 along with some that you should have been using all along!

Mealpal

Just launched January of 2019 in Los Angeles; Mealpal is a subscription service that lets you order lunch from over 150 restaurants for just $6 a day!

Created by Mary Biggins of ClassPass and Katie Ghelli of ZocDoc in 2016, it is cuisine meets convenience. Meal prices start at $5.99 per meal with a 12 meal plan and $5.39 for a 20 meal plan.

So what are you eating for just $6?? Think LemonadeTender GreensSweetfin Poke, The Melt, and many more!

Just use your app to scan available dishes and then pre-order as early as the night before to maximize your lunch hour.

Just Forking Around

Alright so this one is a podcast, but why I think it’s one of the best restaurant apps that will actually save you money is that Debi Saltzberg has created a show where you literally feel like you are in the restaurant. So it’s like you get to try it before you buy it.

Available on iTunes or on the website, Just Forking Around has a new interview every week with fantastic restaurateurs, authors, and foodie-do gooders. However my favorites are the Forkisodes where you get that insider view of what it feels like to be in the restaurant from door to digestion!

Zomato

Zomato is a global restaurant app in the vein of Yelp where you can read restaurant reviews and search for food based on keywords, but it’s exclusively restaurants.

The reviewers tend to be people who are passionate about dining out instead of just disgruntled customers, and best of all when you find something you like you can also choose an option to order food online or book a table.

Did I miss one? Leave a comment and let me know your favorite restaurant app for dining out!
