The city of Los Angeles turns 242 years old this Labor Day! Say Happy Birthday to Los Angeles in some truly unique ways by doing some of the things that make this city great!

City Birthday Celebration

It’s not a birthday without a pilgrimage, although in this case, mecca is the El Pueblo Historical Monument. Begin the nine-mile route of Los Pobladores at the San Gabriel Mission and be rewarded with history when you arrive at the historic El Pueblo plaza.

While there doesn’t appear to be an official celebration for 2023, it’s still a great place to visit with an outdoor market that takes place daily beginning at 9 a.m.
