It’s not too late for Love in Los Angeles – Last Minute Reservations for Valentine’s Day 2024

Valentine’s Day 2024 is right around the corner, but don’t worry if you haven’t shot your arrow into any restaurant choices yet. It’s not too late for love in Los Angeles! These hot spots still have reservations available for February 14th.


BEVERLY HILLS

La Dolce Vita underwent a fancy 2023 renovation, and there’s no better time than Valentine’s Day to experience the spectacle. Tickets are still available for their 4-course menu with optional wine pairing, which features the greatest hits of this red sauce Italian-American restaurant. The cost is $195 per person. Make your reservations on Resy, but don’t delay. Those leather booths are filling up.

Crustacean has something for the gals, pals, and your one and only, with menu specials on February 13th and 14th, plus extended hours from noon to 10 p.m. to accommodate more love connections. Cheeky Vietnamese-fusion dishes include Be My “Lobster” served with forbidden rice, a “Marry Me” whole roasted organic chicken with Thai basil and hot honey, and Horny Duck, which is served with horny goat weed tofu noodles. Entree prices vary. Guests visiting on Galentine’s Day can also enjoy a complimentary round of Some Like it Hot Cocktails with their mates. BRENTWOOD

A.O.C. Wine Bar from Chef Suzanne Goin will be offering a 5-course prix fixe that’s perfect for sharing. Begin with a trio of options to split, including a Leek and Goat Cheese Tart, Citrus with Beets and Avocado, and Cured Hamachi pastrami-style with Weiser potato and caviar cream. Next, it’s on to decadent main courses like Lobster Thermador or a Grilled Steakhouse Ribeye – both made for two. Dessert is a Chocolate Mascarpone Tart with honeycomb, crushed hazelnuts, and espresso. The Specialty Cocktail of the Day is the Besitos made with tequila, house red currant liqueur, and lime. A Wine Pairing is also available. The cost of the meal is $150 per person, and reservations can be made via OpenTable for both the Brentwood and West Hollywood locations. This meal can also be enjoyed in the privacy of your own home.

Baltaire will be serving a 4-course prix-fixe with optional wine pairing that is sure to satisfy any palate. Choose between Lollipop Lamb Chops and Charred Spanish Octopus, among other dishes. Your second course could include a Citrus Salad or a Lobster Bisque. Main course options are traditional steakhouse delicacies like a New York Strip Steak, a Bone-in Ribeye, and Ora King Salmon and Sword Fish. They are all paired with your choice of side dish, including Olive Oil Whipped Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts. Dessert is meant to be shared; after all that food, you might not mind. Choose from Powdered Beignets and a Caramel Pot de Creme, among others. The cost is $195 per person, and reservations can be made via OpenTable.

Katsuya is feeling the love all week long with a special 6-course prix-fixe menu available from Sunday, February 11th until Wednesday, February 14th. Menu highlights include the iconic Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, Salmon Sashimi with Yuzu-Soy, a Skirt Steak with Wasabi Sauce, and a Strawberry Yuzu Chocolate Heart for dessert. The cost is $110 per person, and reservations can be made via OpenTableOpenTable or directly from the website for locations in Brentwood, Downtown Los Angeles, and Hollywood.

The Love and Flowers Chef Dinner pairs each course with a flower and features Complimentary Champagne upon arrival. The menu for the evening includes Heart Beet Carpaccio, Miso Honey Salmon, and a refreshing Strawberry Sorbet for dessert. The cost is $115 per person and $92 for club members. PLAYA VISTA and VENICE

Grain, the secret whiskey bar inside Playa Provisions, is celebrating the day of love with the perfect pairing for the pair of you. The Flights and Bites menu features four different pours of Glendronach Whiskey paired with Chocolates by Culver City chocolatier Milla Chocolates. The event takes place at 7 p.m. and is $60 on Resy. You can extend the evening by enjoying dinner at one of the surrounding spaces in Playa Provisions.

Italy meets Venice Beach at Ospi, where you can enjoy a 3-course meal plus a little something extra. The evening begins with Complimentary Champagne, Ricotta fett’unta Bites, and Truffle Arancini Balls. The rest of the menu will be a medley of the restaurant’s favorite dishes. The cost is $110 per person, and reservations can be made on Resy.


SANTA MONICA

Say I love you under the Sugar Palms when you choose the Viceroy Santa Monica and Sugar Palm Restaurant for Valentine’s Day. The special 3-course dinner includes options like Lobster Bisque and Beet Salad starters, Grilled Swordfish or Spinach Bucatini, and a Hazelnut Prailine or Rose Petal Panna Cotta to finish. It’s all topped off with Live Music and a Complimentary Rose. Romantic dining cabana packages are also available. The cost is $99 per person or $150 with Wine Pairing. Rustic Canyon is taking your Valentine’s Day on a trip with a “Choose our Own Adventure” Menu. Select any eight courses off their sixteen-course tasting menu and let Chef Jeremy Fox guide you on a journey of culinary delights. Menu highlights include a version of the Chef’s iconic Peas and White Chocolate Dish, Oysters on the Half Shell, and Duck Leg Confit with red-wine braised cabbage and rhubarb. Visit the gorgeously restored hotel, The Georgian, for a 3-course Be Mine Menu overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The meal begins with three family-style dishes, including Oysters with Black Pepper Mignonette, Burrata topped with Grilled Asparagus, and Dungeness Crab. Entree choices include a Branzino Filet with broccolini, a Filet with sauce au poivre, or a Surf and Turf for Two, the best of both worlds with a Ribeye and Grilled Branzino combination. Dessert features one of Chef David Almany’s signature creations. The cost is $110 per person, and reservations can be made on Resy.


LOVE ON THE RUN

If you need your love to go, these spots have some sweet things on the menu available now through February 14th. Mexican bakery La Monarca is ticked pink with Pink Conchas and Pink Whipped Cream to top your beverages. Dunkin’ Donuts has some new additions in flavors like Pink Velvet Macchiato and Frosty Red Velvet, as well as the traditional Heart-Shaped Donuts in flavors like Brownie Batter and Cupid’s Choice. Lastly, Susie Cakes has everything from an I Heart U Cupcakes 4-pack to a variety of 6 and 9-inch Cakes with special messaging. You can even customize if you order 24 hours in advance.
