It’s Alright cause your Saved by the Max

If the title of this post made you sing a little in your head, then you better get to the Saved by the Max Los Angeles Pop-Up before we lose it for good on April 30th 2019!

What is Saved by the Max?

In case you don’t already know; Saved by The Max is the Chicago restaurant pop-up from Zack Eastman, Steve Harris, and Derek Berry. After making it in the Windy City they decided to bring Saved by the Bell back to Bayside itself! It’s been open since January 2018 so this has been a SUPER long semester!!

To keep things interesting the restaurant has added The Malibu Sands Beach Bar and Zack Morris’s Room to the mix of places you can gram about. And they’ve added a few new menu items to match the decor!

Appetizers

Begin your meal with a plate of Kawpowski’s Fried Pickles battered in Goose Island Beer, or a PCH Tuna Poke if you’re watching your figure for prom!

Entrées

The newest entrée on the Saved by the Max menu is the Digging for Gold Po’ Boy Sandwich, but I prefer the old standards like the Bayside Burger or Kevin the Robot’s Fish Tacos.

Drinks and Desserts

Wash it all down one of Lisa Turtle’s Milkshakes ($7). You can also make it boozy if you’d like. The cocktail menu offers one of five options including the Summer of ’91 featuring Danny’s tiki bitters, elderflower, mango, and Absolut Elyx. Make it for 1 ($15) or 4 ($30) guests.

Although they now accept reservations at the door, it’s best to pre-purchase your tickets to dine at The Max for Brunch or Dinner beforehand.

The food is courtesy of Michelin-starred Chef Brian Fisher (Entente). The $40 per person price tag includes an appetizer and an entrée, or you can substitute in a cocktail.

Read my full Brunch post right here if you need more convincing, or just get yourself in to dine today preppies!
