The Los Angeles Coliseum is over 100 years old, but it looks as good as ever. Here is the best food at the LA Coliseum for the 2023-2024 season that will keep things feeling fresh.
Head to the top floor of the new Scholarship Tower and take in 360-degree views of Los Angeles from the 1923 Club on the Casa Mexico Skydeck, where you’ll find lounge-style seating and a premium bar setup featuring Casa Mexico Tequila and Nine Banded Whiskey.
What’s New in Food?
Executive Chef John Brenning is back, and he’s putting even more Los Angeles back into the LA Coliseum.
First off, there are a lot more GREENS! Beginning with the Grab & Go Heirloom Grain Salads and Watermelon & Pineapple Cup.
Next up, the Legendary Heritage Burger is not only available with ground sirloin and BBQ Bacon but this season you can also get it PLANT-BASED thanks to their collaboration with the Lightlife brand.
More L.A. favorites include the house-smoked BBQ Chicken Sandwich served with a signature slaw on a soft potato bun; and a variety of Street Tacos with house-made carne asada, chicken adobo, or al pastor.
Looking for the perfect share plate? How about a giant meatball! The Mega Meatball in a bread bowl comes dripping with sauce and is meant to be shared among very close friends 🙂
Lastly, they’re going old school, and by that I mean PREHISTORIC! The Brontosaurus Beef Short Rib that’s been smoked for six hours under red oak will have you gnawing through those tough calls like a champ. It’s some of the best food at the L.A. Coliseum.
Repeat Offenders with a Twist
Check out the upgraded Nachos. They are now available with a signature souvenir helmet with which to scoop from.
I’m also very happy to report that one of my favorites from last year, the Chicken Tenders & Fries in that easy-to-carry “grub tub” is still available at the Fight on Grill.
What’s New for 2022
Guests can expect a new Chick-Fil-A Sandwich at Gate 1 as well as a Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich at Gate 4. Also, look for Mexican Burritos and Street Tacos at various locations.

The Tri-Tip Sandwich on garlic buttered bread is the one I couldn’t put down!
The Tri-Tip Sandwich, the loaded Asada Fries, and the BBQ Chicken Sandwich.
The BBQ grilled chicken sandwich of Lightlife is delicious. The sandwich comes with shredded chicken in a sauce with cheese and bacon, topped with onion crisps. The test is just magnificent.
