Tom’s Watch Bar (DTLA)

Tom’s Watch Bar at L.A. Live is hosting a watch party beginning at 11 a.m. on February 11th. There will be Emcees, Trivia, $5 Shots, and Free Food and Drinks after the game – although if you got there at 11 a.m. and had those $5 shots, you might not be interested in staying into the evening hours. There is not a bad seat in the house, though! It’s first come, first served.

Your Home

Leave the work to someone else and still enjoy the Super Bowl in the comfort of your own casa. Favorite spots for pickup include:

  • Starbird, the super-premium fast-food fried chicken concept out of the Bay Area, has some pretty finger-lickin’ good deals for the big game. Packages of Wings, Tenders, and Sauces that serve 4-5 people begin at $54.97, and that’s just the start. The chicken is hand-breaded and hormone-free! Pre-orders are available now for delivery or pickup at locations in Fairfax and Hermosa Beach.
  • Don’t do Wings the ordinary way. Kismet Rotisserie offers flavors like Tangy Turmeric + Honey and Harissa, as well as Shmaltzy Potatoes, Dips, and more. Preorder here
  • The prices are almost as good as those game day commercials at Vallarta Supermarkets, where Party Trays of Street Tacos, Fried Chicken, Guacamole, and more are available with 24-hour advance purchase for 25-50 people.
  • Prime Pizza is open for pre-orders only at locations from Altadena to El Segundo. Secure it early.

As far as drinks go, a Doritos Cocktail is in order. Find out where to get your limited-edition bottle right here.

Super Bowl LVIII

So what’s on the menu at the actual Super Bowl? This year Chef David Chang teamed up with Toyota to switch out hot dog buns for sticky buns in The Lunar New Year Tailgate Challenge. It’s a “football-inspired” food challenge with Chefs BrandonJew and Nico de Leon, where they will create a new tailgate recipe inspired by the Lunar New Year and their own heritage. NFL player Jordan Mailata will even be in on the fun. The whole thing will then be digested on Chef David Chang’s podcast, The David Chang Show, from 2/12 to 2/19.

Super Bowl attendees at Allegiant Stadium on February 11th will also be enjoying new dishes that exemplify the best of Las Vegas – think Wagyu Beef Hot Dogs, Surf & Turf Nachos, and a “Sunday Sundae” Griddled Donut, which is a jumbo doughnut topped with ice cream, spun sugar, caramelized marshmallow, and sprinkles. Tickets are still available for the sports event of the year right here!
