This year more than ever my cup of rosé wine has indeed runneth over. Once only lauded as a summer beverage it’s now perfectly acceptable to sip the pink drink all year!
National Rosé Day is Monday June 12th so if you haven’t jumped on the floral bandwagon yet I suggest you start this weekend!
The Bottomless Bunch
COD Seafood House and Raw Bar in the Beverly Grove area will be offering bottomless pours of Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial during weekend brunch from 10:30 a.m. -3 p.m. The brunch menu is Asian-inspired with entrées like Yuzu Blueberry Pancakes and Shrimp and Crab Omelettes with ginger scallion chimichurri.
Le Petit Paris in Downtown Los Angeles will be offering bottomless rosé & Oysters all week LONG from 4:00-7:00pm on their patio adjacent to the Spring Street Park. The bottomless rosé ($18) and oysters ($1 each) will be offered in addition to the restaurant’s regular happy hour menu which always features a $7 Rosé.
By the Glass
For a rosé with a sense of humor enjoy a frozen Fresh Spritz of Bel Air featuring Rosé Prosecco, Aperol, Cold Pressed Watermelon, and Fresh Squeezed Grapefruit JuiceatE.P & L.P. in West Hollywood. Also, on the new cocktail menu is the California Love, featuring Rosé Wine, Rosé Aperitif Blend, and seasonal fruit. Both of these drinks taste even better on the L.P. Rooftop patio bar.
If you’re looking to develop your wine palate then head to Santa Monica’s Esters Wine Shop & Barfor their recently unveiled happy hour. Mondays – Saturdays from 4 – 6 p.m., guests can enjoy $9 glassesofrosé along with other wine selections. The co-owner Kathryn Coker was recently named one of Food & Wine’s 2017 Sommeliers of the Year so you can trust that you’re only having the best 🙂
