5 Reasons you need to be at the 5th Annual Masters of Taste

After a two-year COVID hiatus, the 5th Annual Masters of Taste is returning to the Rose Bowl on Sunday, April 3rd, with over 100 Masters! Here are 5 reasons why you need to be there too!

5. To Sample over 30 Master Chefs all in one Place

Have you always wanted to go to Agnes Restaurant and Cheesery (Pasadena) on a Friday night, but you live in Santa Monica and love yourself too much for that commute? Well, at the 5th Annual Masters of Taste, you can be sampling Gracias Madre (West Hollywood) and then get over to Georgia’s Restaurant (Long Beach) without leaving the 50-yard line of the Rose Bowl Stadium field.

4. To Sip on Unlimited Beverages

The word Masters extends to the beverage makers as well. Enjoy UNLIMITED BEVERAGE TASTINGS while you explore the booths and mingle with your fellow foodies. Highlights include zero-waste Clarified Margaritas from Gracias Madre, Old Fashioned Cocktails from Knox and Dobson, Wine from CRU Winery, and Kombucha from Humm Kombucha.

3. To Satisfy your Sweet Tooth

Just when you think you can’t fit another bite in, you’ll reach the Sweet Masters section and be tantalized by Sea Salt and Caramel Brownies from Bertha Mae’s Brownie Company and Pandan Coconut Custard from Ayara Thai. Believe me, you will make room. Oh, and did I mention the tastings are UNLIMITED?

2. To Soak up all the Knowledge of the Host Chef

The Host for Masters of Taste 2022 is Chef Vanda Asapahu of Ayara Thai. She will be bringing with her fellow Chefs of Thai Certified Restaurants, which means they only use traditional ingredients. Certain parts of the event will feel like you’ve stepped straight into the authentic street food stalls of Thailand.

1. To Save Lives

Did you know that 100% of the proceeds from the 5th Annual Masters of Taste go to Union Station Homeless Services? The work they do feeds and houses thousands of displaced Angelenos, so for every bite you take, you are helping put food into someone else’s mouth too.

Please purchase your tickets here before they sell out (VIP is already gone)! General Admission begins at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 3rd, 2022 and the event ends at 7 p.m. Use the code AYARA22 for $15 off!
