While this holiday is a day” in honor of working people,” wouldn’t it be nice to get a break from fighting crowds in the name of FOMO events? Here’s a list of the 15 easiest Labor Day weekend events in Los Angeles to do just that.

Specialty Bites for Labor Day Weekend
If you still haven’t had lobster this summer, sink your claws into this deal: the annual 3-Course Lobster Menu at The Palm DTLA. Pricing begins at $139 for two people and includes a starter, such as Lobster Bisque, a Jumbo Lobster main course, and a Dessert to share. Reserve here until September 1st.
How does an ice-cold Martini sound? Well, what if it were just $10 and still the regular size? Queen’s Raw Bar & Grill in Highland Park offers this special from 5 to 6 p.m. weekdays and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays. Menu options include a Classic Gin or Vodka Martini with a hint of dry vermouth, or a Swashbuckler Martini featuring house-made oyster and olive brine. That all pairs nicely with Queen’s signature Mackerel Tartare and a plate of Hushpuppies. The 626 Night Market is happening from August 29th to August 31st at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia. Admission is $5.90 pre-sale, and children under three are admitted free. Also for your consideration is the weekly Smorgasburg LA at Row DTLA. Sunday, August 31st, is the last day to enjoy Ice Cream Alley with favorites like Kinrose Creamery and the Churro Boss Truck. Also on deck are more than a dozen other foodie vendors. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with one hour of free parking included. Go early to avoid the rush. Admission is FREE!
August 30th is National Mai Tai Day, and Islands Restaurants usually celebrates with Mai Tais for just $5.99. Still confirming details for 2025. You can’t go wrong with Tonga Hut in the valley either.

Head to The Hollywood Bowl on August 29th and 30th for the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour. Get your discounted tickets here! Sunday, August 31st, takes things in a different direction with Dave Koz and Friends, and tickets are available for less than $40.
