Who are they?

The ONPOINTTTT food truck is a year in the making for collaborators Alex Banks and Keesha Wilson Both are West Indian from Grenada and Guyana respectively, and Mr. Banks has been grilling up traditional Grenadian food for the community for years. Most notably he used to give away his famous marinated meats FOR FREE on Easter Sunday at the annual Guyanese Kite Flying Picnic in San Pedro during which he perfected the recipes that are seen today.

Despite the arrival of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the powerhouse team was determined to move forward and used their desire to unite a fractured city with great food as the fuel for the grill fire.

What to Eat

Off the Main Tingz menu, the must have’s include the Jerk Chicken Plate ($15) and the Spicy Shrimp Plate ($17) — which is a Chef Banks signature dish. Also on the menu is a Jerk Chicken Taco Plate ($10) which is as Los Angeles as it gets.

For your Pon Di Sides choose between BBQ Baked Beans; Potato Salad; Side Salad; Baked Rolls; or White Rice. Everything is also available à la carte.

Be sure to drizzle a little jerk sweet sauce on top of your main dishes if you want to keep from sweating too much through your socially distanced face mask. This food is that addictive sort of heat that is just above what your body wants, but too good to stop eating!

What to Drink

Where to Find Them
