What is the Thumzup App?

Thumzup is a Los Angeles-based app created by CEO Robert Steele to “democratize social media marketing,” similar to Uber and Airbnb. This means everyone can get a piece of the pie no matter how many followers you have, and it makes sure that app users are as happy as the businesses and advertisers on the platform.

This app isn’t aimed at social media influencers. Rather it’s meant for authentic users to share their honest opinions on a business they’ve tried with friends and family.

Small businesses are happy with the influx of customers generated from the shared content, and Thumzupapp users get paid for their opinions, beginning at $10 a post.

How does the Thumzup App Work?

First, download the free Thumzup App on the app store. It’s available for both Apple and Android.

Next, you enter your phone number, and after you input the security code, you’re set up to start browsing local businesses around you.

Once you find your favorite, you’ll select it and click the camera button, where you’ll either take a new photo on-site or upload one you’ve already taken, as well as write a caption for your post.

Now you’re ready to share! You’ll be prompted to share the post you just created with connected social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and more! It’s one click, and you’re done. No extra editing or fancy videos are necessary. Currently, Instagram is the preferred share option.

$10 or more is then uploaded to your Venmo account, and it happens almost instantly. Some users have reported earning over $1,000 per month through this app. The amount you’ll earn is right on the business button, and it ranges depending on their budget.

Where is the Thumzup App Available?

Currently, the Thumzup App is targeted to just West Los Angeles, but plans are to make it global! You can also take advantage of Online Brands/Freelancers if you’re not local to West Los Angeles.

Businesses currently using the Thumzup App include Belle’s Beach House, Primos Donuts, The Pump Station, Fat Tomato Pizza, and Arthur Murray Dance Studios, among others.

As an example, you can spend $2 at Primos Donuts and get paid $10 just for posting about your experience. You can also just visit the stores or restaurants and post a photo without making a purchase. It’s that easy.

How Else is the Thumzup App Changing the Game?

Let’s say you love everything about this app. Did you know you can be one of the ground floor investors? Using the word democratize again, the Thumzup app wants to make everything available to its users, including stock shares. As a Reg A+ Offering, they’re able to raise capital using crowdfunding. There’s even a button to Invest Now on their website. Shares begin at $4.50 per share (minimum purchase of $1000), and they’ve already raised $3.2 million as of publication of this article.

West L.A., What are you Waiting For?

If I was in West Los Angeles, I’d be using this all the time, and I’m counting down the days until they hit my neighborhood! The process is so simple, and the payment amount is crazy good. Best of all, it’s for everyone.

I’m giving the Thumbzup App two big thumbs up and urge you to give it a download and see what’s available near you.
