Where to Eat for Free on Veterans Day in Los Angeles

Veterans Day is this Saturday, Nov. 11th, 2023, and to thank the brave women and men of this country, many establishments are offering some great deals and free meals. Here’s some of the best of the list of where to eat for free (or almost free) on Veterans Day in Los Angeles.


Acapulco/El Torito

Head to Acapulco or El Torito for a free 2-item Combination Plate. Sample dishes include Chicken Tamale, Chile Relleno, and Chicken Taquitos with rice and beans. This will be available all day, and proof of service or uniform is required.

California Fish Grill

California Fish Grill will be offering a Complimentary Soft Drink and Taco for all Veterans. Proof of service is required.


Coffee & Doughnuts

  • Dunkin Donuts will be giving away a free Donut (in-store only) all day.
  • Krispy Kreme will have a free Doughnut plus Coffee.
  • Starbucks will offer a free tall Hot or Iced Coffee to both military and spouses.

Denny’s

Denny’s will be offering a Build Your Own Grand Slam from 5 a.m. to noon for active and inactive military personnel (ID required) on Friday, November 10th.

Customize your breakfast with more than ten choices, like Buttermilk Pancakes, Eggs, and Buttermilk Biscuits

Hobdoddy Burger Bar

Veterans and Active-Duty Military can enjoy a FREE Classic Burger at Hobdoddy Burger Bar, with locations in El Segundo and Playa Vista.

Menchie’s

The first 6 ounces of Frozen Yogurt are FREE for Veterans and Active-Duty Military at Menchie’s. Proof of service is required.


Sizzler

Sizzler – a Culver City original since 1958, is serving up a free lunch until 4 p.m. for active-duty military and veterans. Entree choices include Malibu Chicken and a 6oz Tri-Tip Steak, among others.

Yogurtland
