DineL.A. Restaurant Week kicks off today and perhaps it’s because my fancy meals out have been limited as of late, but I feel like this might be the best DineL.A. Ever!!
Besides the already low 2 and 3-course prix-fixe prices ranging from $15-$49 dollars, you can now experience decadent 5 and 6-course tasting menus at some of the hottest restaurants in town for as low as $95 dollars as part of the DineL.A.’s Exclusive Series.
Here’s a look at where I planning to be, and some others you should consider going in my place 🙂
Lunchtime Must Haves
Terrine in West Hollywood will be serving a 2-course $20 lunch with the menu standout being their Decadent Burger with Truffle Butter, Sage Aioli, and Concentrated Tomatoes.
Connie & Ted’s in West Hollywood for their 2-course menu for $25, which this year includes a refreshing beverage to start and a dessert to end. Menu highlights include Jo’s Wicked Chowder Sampler or a 1/2 Dozen Chef’s Choice Oysters to get your party started.
Pizzeria Mozza in Hollywood will be slicing up a 2-course lunch for $15 which includes an appetizer and your choice of 1 of 5 pizzas.
Redbird in Downtown Los Angeles will be offering a 2-course for $25 menu and most of their entree prices begin in the $30s! Menu highlights include Burrata with persimmon, pistachio, cress, and duck prosciutto on the appetizer menu, and a Gnochetti Sardi with florida rock shrimp, chanterelles, and tomato confit on the entree side.
Redbird will also be offering a 4-course tasting menu for $95 with items like Dayboat Scallops with orzo prelate, oxtail, and parsley name as well as a Bone-in filet of beef, which on their own would cost $32 and $42 respectively.
Gracias Madre in West Hollywood will be serving 3-courses for $29 dollars plus a free non-alcoholic beverage. Go during happy hour and your meal will less than $35 dollars (before tip and tax :))
Hutchinson Kitchen & Cocktails, that Indonesian steakhouse on Beverly Blvd you still haven’t tried but should, will be offering a 3-course for $29 dollars with menu standouts like Wood-fire roasted Sriracha Corn as well as Lamb with polenta and olive tomato sauce. If you can swing it I would also recommend adding a Chicken Satay with crushed peanuts, sambal, Indonesian soy, cucumber salad, and mom’s peanut sauce for $12. It’s really mom’s recipe 🙂
The Bellwether in Studio City serving 3 Savory courses like Crispy Brussels Sprouts, with bacon-maple-cayenne gastrique and a New York Steak with butter confit for $29.
Little Next Door in West Hollywood will also be offering 3-courses for $29 including signature items like their French Onion Soup and Moules Frites.
