Nearby, The Ford is one of the great concert halls of Los Angeles that is less explored. It’s chiseled into the Hollywood Hills, much like the Bowl, and focuses on cultural performers and intimate headliners. See the lineup here. It’s more July-heavy than June, but it’s always good to plan.

- Not sure how I feel about this one, but there’s a new museum at The Grand LA and the first of its kind: DATALAND for AI Arts. It’s set to be “a public repository for large-scale nature-focused data sets,” and humans are the original machines in motion for the project. Doors open June 20th.
- The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures has a new film series beginning June 1st and continuing through July: the Marilyn Monroe: Hollywood Icon screening series, marking what would have been her 100th year of life.
